Oak Lawn Fall Fest gave local residents three days of live music, food and entertainment Sept. 11-13 at the Village of Oak Lawn.
The annual event featured performances throughout the weekend, with people gathering to enjoy the music and activities.
“This fest has always been a huge success and it gets bigger and bigger every year,” Oak Lawn Mayor Terry Vorderer said.
Friday’s entertainment featured the Nashville Electric Company, which performed country music. Saturday’s lineup included Grace & John at 2 p.m. and Nate Venturelli at 6 p.m.
Oak Lawn resident Megan Richards said the variety of activities was one of the things she liked most about the event.
“There’s stuff for the kids, music, food – it’s the definition of family fun,” Richards said.
The festival also has become a tradition for some Oak Lawn residents.
“We have been coming to this fest for the last three years and we continue to look forward to it every year,” said Samantha Johnson, of Oak Lawn.
Sunday brought the final day of entertainment, including Country Night on the Gazebo Stage and 90’s Pop Nation on the Beer Tent Stage.
