That must have been one heck of a toothache.

A 30-year-old Orland Park man threatened to “blow up” a dental office May 14 if he wasn’t seen by a dentist when he walked into the office in the 11300 block of West 143rd Street, police said.

Yeazan Hammad, of the 9100 block of West 140th Court, was arrested after he walked into Orland Advanced Dentistry with a briefcase that he placed on the counter and demanded to see a dentist, police said.

Police said he had called the office earlier with questions about his insurance.  When he wasn’t able to see the dentist, he made the alleged threat, police said.

Hammad was charged with disorderly conduct and given a lifetime ban from the dental office, police said.

Police went to Hammad’s residence where he admitted to being at the dental office but said he was “arguing” over the way he was treated.

He denied making any statements about having a bomb.  Instead, he alleges he said, “I’m frustrated. I’m going to blow.”

No bomb was found in the briefcase.
