Mike J. Kulaga, a Channahon resident who spent most of his life in Chicago, died May 16, 2026. He was 95.
Kulaga was born July 4, 1930, in Chicago.
He is survived by his four children: Michael, Stephen, Laurie and the late James; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. His wife, Bernadine, whom he married, preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Chesterine, Emily and Joseph.
He is also survived by his brother-in-law Robert Novak and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation was held May 20 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. A second visitation was held May 21 from 8:30 a.m. until prayers at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. at St. Daniel the Prophet Church. He was buried at Resurrection Cemetery next to his wife.
