On July 2, at 12:52 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Devante Frugia, 33, from University Park. Frugia was charged with improper āUā turn and driving while his license is suspended. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On July 2, at 1:55 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Jaylen Jackson, 28, from Monee. Jackson was charged with no valid insurance and driving while her license is suspended. She was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On July 5, at 9:08 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Jimmy Lyons, 20, from Park Forest. Lyons was charged with changing lanes with no signal, no valid license or permit, and no valid insurance. During the traffic stop officers discovered he had an active warrant out of Vermillion County for failure-to-appear in a separate case. He was subsequently given a notice-to-appear for the traffic violations and transported to the Will County Adult Detention facility for further processing related to the warrant.
On July 6, at 4:15 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Markell Beard, 53, from Chicago. Beard was charged with speeding over posted limit and driving while license revoked. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On July 6, at 8:45 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Jayden Dansby, 17, from Flossmoor. Dansby was charged with aggravated speeding 35-mph over the posted limit. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
