A team called “Give Piece a Chance” won the Orland Park Public Library’s Puzzle Competition on Sunday, July 19, finishing a jigsaw puzzle in 1 hour and 51 minutes. The four-person team beat other community competitors in the library’s afternoon event.
The winning team included Nicole Pellegrino, Maria Pellegrino, Neil Dedona, and Vicky Dedona.
The library welcomed puzzle enthusiasts for an afternoon of friendly competition during as where teams put their speed, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test.
Teams of up to four participants raced against the clock to complete the same jigsaw puzzle, carefully sorting, strategizing, and assembling pieces in hopes of earning the title of Puzzle Competition champions.
The event brought together adults from throughout the community for an engaging afternoon that celebrated collaboration, critical thinking, and a shared love of puzzles. Spectators and participants alike enjoyed the exciting atmosphere as teams worked steadily toward the finish line.
