With former city treasurer Courtney Bolt now an alderwoman in Countryside, some appointments for city council members have been juggled.
Bolt was named to the council’s finance committee and the human resources committee.
Bolt will also chair the special events committee, replacing longtime chair Ald. Scott Musillami, who is now chair of the human resources committee.
Ald. Mark Benson was named to the sustainability committee.
After the meeting, Musillami said he enjoyed chairing the special events committee, noting the many events the city offers each year, including Music in the Park and the recent bluegrass festival.
“I had fun,” he said.
Bolt said she’s looking forward to chairing the special events committee. The next big event will be Breakfast With Santa at the Flagg Creek Golf Course clubhouse in December.
