Man takes about $2,000 in cosmetics from Palos Hills pharmacy
Palos Hills police are investigating a retail theft Sept. 29 at a pharmacy in the 11000 block of Southwest Highway.
A man entered the store and took about 650 e.l.f. cosmetics products worth about $2,000, an employee told police. He hid the items in his clothing and fled on foot, police said.
Oak Lawn man charged with DUI
Gerese B. Hawatmeh, 37, of Oak Lawn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after his arrest Sept. 29 in the 7600 block of West 103rd Street, police said. He was also charged with other traffic offenses, police said.
Police report information is provided by law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken. Persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
