Unlocked vehicle stolen

Palos Hills police are investigating a vehicle theft reported Aug. 27 in the 9100 block of Windsor Drive. The owner said the car was parked on the street due to construction and was left unlocked with the keys in the cupholder.

Customer spits on store employeealgre

Police are investigating a battery incident that occurred Aug. 27 at Walgreens, 8800 W. 95th St. An employee told officers that an unknown person spat in their face while they were attending to other customers.

Gaming café burglarized

Police are investigating a burglary Aug. 27 at Darla’s Gaming Café, 10602 S. Roberts Road. Responding officers found the front glass entrance broken and two gaming machines damaged. An unknown amount of money was missing from the machines.

Man arrested on warrants

Abdelhamid A. Abdelnabi, 58, of Worth, was arrested on an active Cook County warrant following a traffic stop Aug. 27 in the 10300 block of Roberts Road.

Driver charged with suspended license

Hamza A. Ananbeh, 30, of Burbank, was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop Aug. 30 in the 10100 block of Roberts Road. Police said he was also charged with other traffic offenses.

Police report information is provided by law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken. Persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
