Patricia A. Donovan, née Gilmore, age 88, passed away on July 19, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.
Born on February 13, 1938, in Chicago, Pat lived a life marked by faith and quiet strength. She was a woman whose loving heart, friendly spirit, and kind nature touched everyone blessed to know her. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Donovan Sr., and her cherished daughter, Maureen Donovan. She is survived by her son, Michael Donovan Jr.
She was the devoted sister of Mary (Edward) Statchura, who is deceased, and John (Kathleen) Gilmore, who is deceased. She was a fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday, July 24, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Saturday, July 25, 2026, 8:45 a.m. Prayers and procession to begin from the funeral home to Saint Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 6435 S. Kilbourn Ave., Chicago, Illinois, for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Saint Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Illinois.
