Man charged with indecent exposure

Konstantine P. Tzamouranis, 50, of the 11400 block of West 123rd Street in Palos Park, was charged with indecent exposure following his arrest at 7:14 p.m. June 1 in the 6600 block of West 63rd Place. Police said a 37-year-old woman reported that Tzamouranis exposed himself while sitting in a car on the block.

Burglar arrested at scene

Kylon D. Williams, 20, of the 6000 block of North Luna Avenue, was charged with burglary at 11:49 p.m. May 31 in the 5500 block of South Mozart Avenue. Police responding to a report of a burglary in progress at a commercial office found Williams in the alley carrying items taken from the business.

Man charged with aggravated assault

Lizandro Patino, 27, of the 3900 block of West 56th Street, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at 12:30 p.m. May 29 on the same block. A 26-year-old man told police that Patino, who appeared intoxicated, approached him in an alley, threatened to kill him, and displayed a knife with an 8-inch blade.

Illegal handgun recovered

Michael L. Thomas, 33, of the 2800 block of West 79th Street, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, a second offense, following his arrest at 9:30 p.m. May 27 in the 5100 block of South Lacrosse Avenue. Police said they observed Thomas walking with what appeared to be a handgun protruding from his waistband. Thomas fled on foot and discarded a semi-automatic handgun in a restaurant parking lot. Police apprehended him shortly after and recovered the weapon.

Domestic battery charges follow altercation

Krzystof E. Pilch, 45, of the 4400 block of South Komensky Avenue, was charged with two counts of domestic battery at 6:23 p.m. May 29 in the 4100 block of West 44th Street. A 40-year-old man told police that following a physical altercation, Pilch damaged his fence by striking it with his head and fist. Pilch also faces charges of criminal damage to property and resisting arrest. He was arrested nearby after leaving the scene.

Woman arrested for assaulting police officers

Michelle A. Sopher, 26, of the 6000 block of South Artesian Avenue, was arrested at her home at 3:31 p.m. May 27 and charged with two counts of aggravated assault of a police officer in connection with a May 19 incident. Police said Sopher interfered with officers responding to a report of an assault in progress. She allegedly blocked an ambulance, argued with police, and punched and kicked two officers. Police identified her through a photo lineup before taking her into custody.

Driver charged after rifle found in vehicle

Antoni Peres, 22, of the 4300 block of South Hermitage Avenue, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and other felony offenses following a traffic accident at 5:58 a.m. June 1 in the 6700 block of South Western Avenue. Police found Peres behind the wheel with a rifle on his lap. He was also charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol with a revoked license and driving under the influence of an intoxicating compound. Peres faces additional misdemeanor charges of driving without insurance, driving with a suspended license, and not carrying his license while driving.

Woman charged with domestic battery

Aryanna R. Panabas, 21, of the 3200 block of West 64th Place, was charged with domestic battery following an incident in her home at 5:50 a.m. May 29. A 22-year-old man told police that Panabas instigated a physical altercation, pushing him to the ground and causing injury.
