Milena Jovanovic, a longtime Hickory Hills resident known for her warmth and kindness, died April 19, 2026. She was 78.
She is survived by two children: Debbie Turrise and Zoran Jovanovic; and four grandchildren: Jacob, Christina, Alec and Ella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aleksandar Jovanovic.
Ms. Jovanovic was born Feb. 22, 1948, in Požarevac, Yugoslavia, now Serbia. She was known in her community for her gentle spirit and kindness to those around her.
Visitation and a celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Interment will be at Bethania Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
