Constance D. Tomazin, known as Connie, a devoted mother and grandmother, died April 3, 2026, at her home in Bridgeview, Illinois. She was 91.
She is survived by four children: Marianne Malaychuk, Larry Jr. Tomazin, Patti Jones and Tom Tomazin; 11 grandchildren: Jessica, Michael, Justin, Thys, June, Paige, Josh, Nikki, Abby, Mitch and Hayden; three great-grandchildren: Liam, Olivia and Lucille; and three siblings: Laverne, Ron and Gus Tomazin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Tomazin, in 2023, and her parents, Gus and Anna Binkowski.
Tomazin was born Dec. 16, 1934, in Chicago. She was an avid reader, a devoted fan of college basketball and deeply committed to her faith. She was known for her kindness, compassion and generosity.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Thursday, April 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Fabian Catholic Church in Bridgeview, Illinois. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. in the narthex.
