Zofia Wolkiewicz, a devoted mother and grandmother, died April 7, 2026. She was 90.
She is survived by two children: Eva Harrah and John Wolkiewicz; eight grandchildren: Joseph Okrzesik, Victoria Hobbs, Lauren Miller, Daniel Harrah, Rachel Harrah, Lydia Wolkiewicz, Olivia Wolkiewicz and John M. Wolkiewicz; three great-grandchildren: Joey Okrzesik, Janie Okrzesik and Jackson Hobbs; and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wolkiewicz, and her daughter, Teofila “Tammy” Okrzesik.
Wolkiewicz was born Zofia Szczesna.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave., Chicago.
Additional visitation will be held Friday, April 17, at 10 a.m. at All Saints Cathedral National Catholic Church, 9201 W. Higgins Road, Chicago, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.
A procession will follow the Mass to All Saints Polish National Cemetery, where Ms. Wolkiewicz will be laid to rest beside her husband.
