Jerzy Ciapala, a devoted father and grandfather, died April 5, 2026. He was 76.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Ciapala; three children: Slawomir Ciapala, Aneta Suliga and Jolanta McNea; and six grandchildren: Olivia Suliga, Brandon Suliga, Vivian Suliga, Ava Suliga, Brayden McNea and Helen McNea.
Ciapala was guided by his Christian faith and was known for his generosity, compassion and willingness to help those in need. He prioritized his children’s education and the well-being of his family.
A service and time of remembrance will be held Sunday, April 12, at 4 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Cmentarz Parafialny in Slocina, Poland.
