On June 6, officers responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the 500 block of Schroeder Avenue. A check of the registration revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Oak Lawn. Contact with the Oak Lawn Police Department confirmed it was an active case. The vehicle was towed, and Oak Lawn PD notified the registered owners.
On June 6, officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Locust Lane. Upon arrival, parties had separated. No injuries were reported, and no physical evidence of violence was observed. Both parties refused to leave the residence but agreed to remain separated for the evening.
