Monee Police Blotter: May 22 – 27

On May 22, at 9:55 p.m., Monee Officers responded to the Petro Truck Stop, 5915 W. Monee-Manhattan Road, about a disturbance call. Upon the officer’s arrival, they discovered a truck driver hauling cars was involved in an altercation with subjects who were stealing cars from his truck. The thieves managed to steal one car and were attempting to take another when the driver intervened. The men ran to a waiting vehicle and fled the scene. Monee Detectives are investigating.

On May 24, at 5:35 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Sarah Graehling, 50, from Joliet. Graehling was charged with disobeying a stop sign and driving on a suspended license. She was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.

On May 26, at 2:43 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Kierra Caldwell, 34, from Bolingbrook. Caldwell was charged with speeding over the posted limit and driving while her license was revoked. She was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.

On May 26, at 5:39 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Desiree Johnson, 32, from Gary, Indiana. Johnson was charged with registration suspended for no insurance and driving while her license was suspended. She was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.

On May 27, at 12:04 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Jessica Garret, 37, from Markham. Garret was charged with speeding over the posted limit and driving with no valid license. She was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.

On May 27, at 2:15 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Clarence Robinson, 45, from Chicago. Robinson was charged with improper display of registration, registration suspended for non-insurance, driving an uninsured vehicle, and driving with a suspended license. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
