Herbert Reyes, 50, of Oak Lawn, Illinois, passed away Sept. 14, 2026.
Herbert was a loving husband and devoted father who dedicated himself to his family. His wife and children were the center of his world, and the love he had for them will remain in their hearts forever.
He was a proud Chicago Bears fan, a passion he enjoyed sharing and talking about with those around him. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his big heart, and the many memories he created with the people he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica; his children, Herbert Jr., Elijah, Eliana, and Elise; his mother, Marilyn Reyes; his brother, Carmelo Reyes Jr. and his wife Lysette; and his sister, Katherine Pagan. He is also survived by his in-laws Jaime Manriquez, Maria Manriquez, Jaime Manriquez Jr., Fernando Manriquez, and Iván Manriquez, as well as extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carmelo Reyes, and his brother, Brian Reyes.
Visitation and Time of Remembrance: Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, 3 to 7 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
