Curie 70, North Lawndale 56: The Condors opened with a win at North Lawndale behind Michael Oliver Jr. (20 points), Jahkil Jackson (16 points, eight rebounds) and Justin Oliver (12 points, eight assists, five rebounds).
De La Salle 69, Jones 37: Charles Barnes scored 27 points, Lucas Johnson had 14 and Jordan Shaw added 10 as the host Meteors won their season and holiday tourney opener.
