Zofia Boblak-Helios, 79, passed away Sept. 18, 2026.
She was the beloved wife of the late Stanislaw Boblak and loving mother of Ewa (the late Henryk) Holek.
She was a dear grandmother of Tomasz (Ewelina) Holek and Malgorzata (Maciej) Wisniewski, and dearest great-grandmother of Antonina, Jan, Hannah, and Adam.
She was the cherished daughter of the late Helena (née Krupa) and the late Jozef Lassak.
She was a fond sister of Maria (the late Julian) Stoch, the late Wladyslaw (the late Anna) Lassak, Anna (the late Mieczyslaw) Gasienica-Roj, Stanislaw (the late Anna) Lassak, Helena (the late Stanislaw) Gal, and Antonina (the late Jacek) Styrczula. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Zofia was a devoted educator and supporter of the Polish Highlanders Alliance of America.
Visitation: Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026. Prayers and procession begin at 8 a.m. from the funeral home to Saint Fabian Church, 7450 W. 83rd Street, Bridgeview, Illinois, for 9 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Poland.
