Local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to attend ‘Where Can I Find Funding to Start My Business?’ Lunch n’ Learn session on September 3, at 11:30 a.m., at the City of Kankakee Economic and Community Development Agency (ECDA) office, 275 E. Court Street, Suite 201, in Kankakee.
The City of Kankakee ECDA are partnering with Allies for Community Business and Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to deliver this free education session for those who wish to learn more about capital access and funding sources available. Allies For Community Business Senior Community Lender Elvin Rodriguez, and Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Northeast Regional Economic Development Officer Sacella Smith will be keynote speakers for the panel. Bilingual translation will be available.
