‘Kankakee Works’ Program for Small Businesses

The City of Kankakee has allocated $350,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to fund the ‘Kankakee Works’ grant program for small businesses, who faced negative economic impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. The city expects to award up to 20 businesses with this one-time grant on a reimbursement basis, for expenses that occurred between March 3, 2021, and October 31, 2024.

‘Kankakee Works’ applications are available in the City of Kankakee Economic and Community Development Agency office or on their website. Application deadline is February 13.
