I recently decided that this is a good time of year to organize my old address book, which I actually started using before cellphones had been invented. Yes, I know it’s 2024 and we have all our friends and family information stored on our cellphones, but I still like the idea of a paper back-up system. My handy old book is still in perfect shape. If I drop it, it doesn’t break, and I don’t need a degree in engineering to update it.
I discovered that half the people in my address book are dead. The good news is that half the people in my address book are alive. I like to look on the bright side. And so, here’s to a newly updated address book, a new year and new beginnings.
