Tuesday, December 19, the Beecher Bobcats faced the Coal City Coalers and gave their fans something to cheer about in the 71-39 victory.

The first few minutes of the game were close, but then Beecher took over, out-scoring Coal City 20-14 by the end of the quarter. In the second period, Beecher was in full control and had an edge of 23-3. After that it was all Beecher.

Adyn McGinley finished with 16 points, 9 assists, and 3 steals. Trevor Stout, Orlin Nesbitt, Jack Hayhurst, and Zack Johnson each added 11 points in the win.

On the night, the Bobcats tallied 10 three-pointers in the game, while fouls were held to just a few. It took a little to get going, but after that Beecher was in command. Going into the winter break, Beecher’s record is 11-0 overall.
