Driving on a suspended license
Jerry Bastida, 26, was pulled over at 5:48 a.m. July 10 at Archer and La Grange Road because his vehicle registration had expired. He was charged with driving on a suspended registration for non-insurance, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance.
No headlights lead to arrest
A 30-year-old man driving without headlights at 9:35 p.m. July 10 received three tickets. Przemyslaw D. Sztarbala was driving a white 2022 Ford van when police stopped him. He was charged with driving on an expired registration, driving on a suspended license and driving without headlights.
One stop nets three tickets
Walter T. Daniels, 33, was pulled over at 1:14 a.m. July 11 on Archer at the ramp for Interstate 294 because his vehicle registration had expired.
He was charged with driving on an expired registration, driving without insurance and driving on a suspended license. He was driving a silver 2013 Toyota sedan.
Seven tickets for man with overweight trailer
Carlos Martinez, 38, was pulled over at 3:45 p.m. July 14 in the 7100 block of South Sholer Avenue because his trailer registration had expired.
He was driving a gray 2014 Ford pickup truck. Martinez received seven tickets and a $602 fine because his load was overweight by 5,320 pounds.
He was cited for aggravated driving on a suspended license, having an overweight trailer, driving without insurance, not having a valid safety inspection sticker, unsafe equipment, inadequate brakes and violation of driver’s license classification.
