Fresh fruit and vegetable pop-up event scheduled for Will County residents, July 29, from 3 - 5 p.m., High Point Creative Arts Center, Romeoville.
Will County residents are invited to attend a drive-up event for free fruits and vegetables in Romeoville on July 29, hosted as a partnership between Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, State Sen. Meg Loughran Cappel, and State Rep. Natalie Manley, aimed at connecting local households with healthy food options.
The pop-up event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., or while supplies last, on Wednesday, July 29, at the High Point Creative Arts Center, 174 S. Highpoint Drive in Romeoville.
Produce will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Registration is not required, and volunteers will be on-hand to line up and load vehicles with produce.
