Call the library at 708-946-9090 for programs that require registration. The library’s Penfield Street parking lot entrance will be closed until spring, but the Maxwell Street entrance still is open. Turn north on Maxwell from Indiana Avenue to get to the library.
The library will be closed on Saturday, December 23, for the Christmas holiday.

December 14 and 15, at 10 a.m., Beecher Bookworm Buddies: Enjoy stories, games, music, and a craft for small children in the meeting room! Call to register. Story times will resume in the new year on January 4 and 5.
Elf on a Bookshelf: Libby the Elf is hiding in different spots in the library this holiday season. Find her to earn a sticker and raffle ticket for a small prize. Children are allowed to find her daily! Filling out a raffle ticket every time is also an easy and fun way to teach kids their phone numbers.
Christmas Card Making: Drop in any time to decorate a Christmas card to send to a loved one.

December 14, 19, and 21, from 2-5 p.m., One-on-One Technology Help: Sit down for a half hour and receive technology help with any of your devices, including phones, tablets, and laptops. Receive help with apps, email, Facebook and social media, computer basics, or get any other technology questions answered. Call to register.
