At its Monday, October 2 meeting, the Frankfort Village Board issued the necessary permits to authorize the operation of a coffee shop at Hickory Creek. Applicant Aliana Winkle proposes to construct a drive-through coffee shop on Outlot 1 E, the final undeveloped outlot in the Hickory Creek Market Place shopping center.
The applicant requests the granting of a Major Planned Unit Development (PUD) Change and the granting of four Special Use Permits to accommodate the proposed business operation of Sparks Coffee Co. The Special Use Permits include a carry-out restaurant, drive-up service windows, outdoor seating, and extended hours of operation to permit a 5 :30 a.m. opening.
