A 37-year-old Chicago man faces multiple felony gun charges in connection with the June 9 shooting of two people outside Prime Time restaurant and bar, 7750 W. 95th St. in Hickory Hills.

Hickory Hills police arrested Robert Evrard on June 14. He appeared in bond court on June 16 in Bridgeview, on four counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm and one count of reckless discharge of a firearm.

Two people were injured in the shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of June 9. Police said investigators reviewed the case with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the five charges were approved after the two victims refused to participate any further in the criminal prosecution of Evrard.

At the time of the shooting, police said the two shooting victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries when they were shot as they were walking to their vehicles outside the restaurant.

Investigators believe the shooting was not random and stemmed from an earlier confrontation between the victims and Evrard.

Details about what happened at the bond hearing were unavailable at press time. But Evrard does not appear to be in custody according to Cook County Jail records.
