After spending more than 20 years working in accounting, real estate, entrepreneurship and business leadership, Orland Park resident Lindsey Evans saw a common challenge facing many people with business ideas and goals.

They often had the ambition to succeed, she said, but lacked access to the information, resources and guidance needed to move forward.

That realization led Evans to open the Business Wellness Center in Orland Park, a new community space designed to help entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals and families strengthen their financial and business knowledge.

The center officially opened July 22 and is also home to Evans’ consulting firm, Liberty Pointe Consulting, which provides Business Wellness Advisory and Fractional CFO services to business owners.

Evans, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DePaul University, said she wanted to create a place where people could come not only for professional services, but also for education, collaboration and support.

“I wanted to create a physical place where we could address those issues differently,” Evans said.

Over the years, Evans said she has worked with many business owners who become responsible for every aspect of running a company.

“They become the salesperson, accountant, problem solver, operations department, and sometimes the emergency fund for the business,” Evans said. “Eventually, that affects not only the company’s finances but also the owner’s capacity to lead and enjoy what they have built.”

The Business Wellness Center was created to address those challenges by providing practical resources and a place for people to connect.

Evans said the center is intended for people at all stages, from those considering starting a business to established owners looking to grow. Families seeking to make stronger financial decisions and professionals needing meeting or creative space are also part of the center’s mission.

The Business Wellness Center offers a conference room, classroom and training space, podcast studio and other areas available for business and professional use.

Evans said she sees the center as more than a place to rent space or attend a workshop. She hopes it becomes a resource for the Orland Park community.

“My goal is for the Business Wellness Center to become a trusted resource within the community — a place where people know they can come to learn, connect, ask questions, and gain the tools and confidence necessary to make better decisions,” Evans said.

The center’s philosophy is built around three words: Educate. Empower. Elevate.

Through Liberty Pointe Consulting, Evans also works with business owners using what she calls the Business Wellness Method™, which looks at business, financial and mental wellness together.

“A business can look successful from the outside while the owner is overwhelmed, cash flow is strained, or the infrastructure behind the business is not sustainable,” Evans said.

Evans said she is excited to build something in the community she calls home and believes the center will continue to grow as more people discover its programs and services.

“I am incredibly excited about what we are building in Orland Park, and I believe this is only the beginning,” she said.
