The Children’s Farm at The Center is once again filled with tables, racks and tents of merchandise as its annual rummage sale brings shoppers to Palos Park this weekend.
The sale opened Friday and continues from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 29-30, at 12700 Southwest Highway.

The event covers several areas of The Children’s Farm. The riding arena is filled with housewares, books, clothing, crafts and tools. Sporting goods are set up on the lawn, while a furniture tent features larger household items.
Clothing shoppers can also visit the “Twice as Nice” boutique, which offers a separate selection of apparel.
The large sale gives shoppers an opportunity to browse a wide range of items in one location. The selection can change throughout the weekend as items are purchased and new shoppers make their way through the sale.
The sale will continue rain or shine. Merchandise is placed in covered areas, including tents and a pavilion, with additional space available inside the riding arena.
Sunday will be the final day of the sale and will feature additional bargains. Shoppers looking for the best deals are encouraged to arrive early.
The rummage sale also helps support The Center, a 501(c)(3) religious organization. Proceeds from purchases go toward the organization’s mission.
The Children’s Farm is located on the east side of Southwest Highway. The sale is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
