Roberto Sanchez passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 75, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a devoted, hardworking, and loving husband to his wife of 53 years, Teodosia Sanchez. He was an amazing and caring father to Martha (Luis), Jose (Josefina), Cristina, Juana (Juan), and Oscar.
As a grandfather, he was thoughtful, attentive, and playful to his grandchildren: Cristina, Samantha, Alexis, Roberto, Ivette, Adrian, Alan, Itzel, Jazmín, Leah, Giovanni, Jocelyn, Christopher, Harold Gael, Ruby, Jacklyn, and Juan Jr. He was also the best great-grandfather to Iris, Leilani, Santiago, Isla, and Alonzo.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Adriana Sanchez; his sisters Crispina Sanchez, Altagracia Ibarra, and Gelos Sanchez; his brother Sabino Sanchez; and his parents.
Visitation: Monday, August 17, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Avenue (55th Street just west of Harlem).
Visitation and Funeral: Tuesday, August 18, 2026, 8:15 a.m. until time of Prayers at 9 a.m. at Foran Funeral Home. Procession to St. Clare de Montefalco Church for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park.
