Jan Podwika, age 53, passed away on July 24, 2026.
He was the cherished son of Helena and the late Wladyslaw Podwika and the fond brother of Wladyslaw (Janina) Podwika and Helena (Franciszek) Goryl.
He was the loving godfather of Szymon Podwika and the dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 28, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Wednesday, July 29, 2026, 9 a.m. Prayers and procession to begin from the funeral home to Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission, 116 Hilton Street, Willow Springs, Illinois, for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
