Eleanore T. Escamilla, a remarkable woman known for her kindness, loyalty, and love for her family and friends, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, July 16, 2026.
Eleanore faced every challenge in her life with courage, dignity, and pride. She was a treasure and inspiration to everyone who knew her.
She was the loving mother of Matthew and his wife Jasmin Bijarro, Anthony Bijarro, Analecia and her husband Robert Garcia, and Raymond Saleski. She was the cherished grandmother of Noah, Aaliyah, and Angelique. She is lovingly remembered by her many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Eleanore was a longtime resident of the Chicago Archer Heights community. To know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed, always loved, and forever remembered.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 22, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street just west of Harlem), Chicago, Illinois.
Funeral: Thursday, July 23, 2026, 8:30 a.m. Visitation at the funeral home until 9:15 a.m., when prayers begin. Procession to St. Richard Church for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: St. Mary Cemetery.
