Andrzej Krupa, age 71, passed away on July 11, 2026.
He was the cherished son of the late Stanislaw and Katarzyna (née Kaczmarczyk) Krupa and the dearest father to his daughter, Katherine (Adam) Picht, and his son, Richard Krupa. He was the loving grandfather to Lukas, Dominik, and Julia.
He was the devoted brother to Marysia (Michal) Luszczek, the late Wladyslaw (Michalina) Krupa, Bronislawa (Tadeusz) Jendrol, Kazimierz (Wladyslawa) Krupa, Jozef (Janina) Krupa, Anna (John) Gubala, and Stanislaw Krupa. He was a caring and thoughtful uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a good friend and neighbor to many.
Andrzej Krupa grew up working hard on the family farm in Ratulow, Poland. He arrived in Chicago in 1977 to begin a new journey and married Maria Ciezczak in 1978. He retired after more than thirty years of employment from Rose Packing. Andrzej was very hard-working and always helped his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, skiing in the winter, jet skiing in the summer, and watching soccer matches. He will be remembered for his dedication and generosity.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 15, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Thursday, July 16, 2026, 9 a.m. Prayers and procession to begin from the funeral home to Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission, 116 Hilton Street, Willow Springs, Illinois, for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
