Stanislaw Kowalczyk, age 82, passed away on July 1, 2026.
He was the beloved husband of Julia Kowalczyk, née Oskvarek, and the loving father of Richard (Charlene) Kowalczyk and Janine (Edward) Konecki. He was the dearest grandfather of Ashley Konecki and Ryan Konecki and the cherished son of the late Emilia (née Kus) and the late Jozef Kowalczyk. He was the dear brother of Wladyslaw (Karolina) Kowalczyk. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Wednesday, July 8, 2026, 8:45 a.m. Prayers and procession to begin from the funeral home to Saint Faustina Kowalska Church, 5255 S. McVicker Ave., Chicago, Illinois, for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
