Segundo Marco Ulloa, age 94, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Ecuador, he came to the United States in 1965 with courage, determination, and the hope of building a better future. He carried his heritage with pride and lived his life with humility, strength, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
A talented and hardworking auto mechanic, he spent decades repairing cars, solving problems, and helping neighbors and customers with honesty and skill. His hands were steady, his work ethic unmatched, and his quiet presence brought comfort to everyone who knew him.
He had a lifelong love for music and dancing, a joy that stayed with him from his early years in Ecuador through his final days. Music was a part of his spirit, and dancing was how he expressed his happiness. He passed that love on to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, filling the family with rhythm, movement, and the belief that life should always be celebrated.
He shared his life with his beloved wife, Gladys Ulloa, who passed away in 2020. Together, they built a home filled with love, sacrifice, and the values that shaped generations. Their partnership — in life, in work, and in raising their family — remains a lasting example of commitment and unity.
He is preceded in death by his son, Tommy, whose memory remains deeply cherished by the entire family.
He is survived by his loving children: Myriam Fortineaux (Franchot Fortineaux), Maria Ulloa, Marco Ulloa (Cathy Ramos), Pat Flores, Esther Ulloa, Tomas Ulloa, Yvonne Ulloa Trejo (Saul Trejo), Ana Ulloa, and Margie Ulloa Lopez (David Lopez). He was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each one carrying a piece of his legacy forward. His love for them was steady and unconditional, and his presence will be felt in their lives for generations to come.
He lived 94 meaningful years, years filled with resilience, hard work, family, and faith. Though he has left this world, he is reunited with his wife and son, resting now in God’s eternal peace. His memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
