Marek Drozdz died May 3, 2026. He was 72.
Drozdz was survived by his wife, Janina, née Domanska; three children, Renata Bruemmer, Artur Drozdz, and Sabina Reynolds; a stepson, Dawid Pukas; and four grandchildren, Cayde, Cora, Chloe, and Kyle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria, née Pirog, and Tadeusz Drozdz. He is also survived by his sister, Malgorzata Drozdz.
A visitation will be held Monday, May 11, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home and Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois. Prayers and a procession will begin from the funeral home Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., proceeding to Saint Fabian Church, 7450 W. 83rd St., Bridgeview, Illinois, for 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
