Overview:
Beecher and Monee police blotters contain charges for suspended licence,equiipment and moving violation, no valid license, and no insurance.

BEECHER
On April 20, Markeisha Franklin, 33, of Chicago, was stopped for a registration violation. Further investigation determined Franklin had a suspended driver’s license. Franklin was charged accordingly for the noted violations and provided a notice-to-appear.
On April 22, Mariela Goddy Verdin, 34, of Chicago Heights, was stopped for an equipment and moving violation. Further investigation determined that Verdin had no valid driver’s license and was charged accordingly for the noted violations. A notice-to-appear was provided.
MONEE
On April 21, at 6:16 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of John Franzese, 43, from Crete. Franzese was charged with driving with an expired registration and no valid license. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On April 23, at 9:44 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Imani Jackson, 22, of East Chicago. Jackson was charged with improper lighting, driving without lights when required, and driving while his license is suspended. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On April 27, at 9:01 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of William Reddick, 21, from Hammond, Indiana. Reddick was charged with no signal light, no valid insurance, and driving while his license is suspended. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On April 27, at 7:01 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Sanyay Gaskew, 20, of Hammond, Indiana. After the driver was arrested for a traffic violation, officers permitted a validly licensed driver to respond and take custody of the vehicle. Gaskew arrived to retrieve the vehicle, and officers checked her driver’s license to confirm it was active. During the check, officers learned she had an active warrant, then she was taken into custody and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility for processing on the warrant.
