Humberto “Beto” Unzueta died April 24, 2026, surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Herminda Alvarez; three children: Humberto Jr. Unzueta, Billy Unzueta and Mike Unzueta; seven grandchildren: Abygail, Humberto I, Mike Jr., Billy Jr., Arian, Benjamin and Amari; and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave., Chicago.
Additional visitation will be held Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. until prayers begin at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 1, at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes of Bohemia Church, 2651 S. Central Park Ave., Chicago.
A procession will follow from the funeral home to the church. Mr. Unzueta will be laid to rest at St. Casimir Cemetery.
