Overview:
Beecher and Monee Police Blotters contain charges for suspended licenses, active warrant, moving violation, no valid CDL, overweight on registration.

BEECHER
On April 8, Tameka Nichols, 45, of Lansing, was stopped for an equipment violation. Further investigation determined that Nichols had a suspended driver’s license and was also in unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Nichols was charged accordingly for the noted violations, and a notice-to-appear was provided.
On April 10, Ben Leimer, 69, of Beecher, was stopped for a registration violation. Further investigation determined Leimer had a suspended driver’s license, as well as an active warrant for his arrest. Leimer was charged accordingly and turned over to the custody of the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
On April 13, Juan Torres Aldape, 31, of Chicago Heights, was issued a citation for a moving violation, then provided with a notice-to-appear.
MONEE
On April 16, at 4:45 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Mario Corona De Quesada, 30, from Gibsonton, Florida. He was charged with no valid CDL when required and was overweight on his registration. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On April 18, at 6:36 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Omarion Rucker, 21, of University Park. Rucker was charged with improper use of his registration/title and no valid insurance. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On April 20, at 4:25 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Jesus Bernal Rodriguez, 37, of Murray, Kentucky. He was charged with no valid CDL when required and was overweight on his registration. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On April 20, at 4:02 p.m., officers were dispatched to 5915 W. Monee-Manhattan (Petro Travel Center) in reference to a trespassing complaint. Upon their arrival, they met with an employee who said a black male, wearing a black hoodie and grey sweatpants, was in the store after trespassing recently. Officers located the subject by the description and identified him as Keetwon Montgomery, 31, of Monee. Montgomery was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to a building. During the arrest Montgomery was making threatening statements toward the Monee PD K-9 and was warned by the handler to stop. Upon being released for trespassing, he verbally assaulted and teased the K-9 once again. He was rearrested and charged with teasing, striking, or tampering with a police K-9 or service dog. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
