Terrence M. Hickey passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He was a retired building inspector for the Village of McCook, Illinois, and a devoted son, brother, and uncle.
Terrence was the loving son of the late Bernard “Red” Hickey Sr. and Irene (née Gorman). He was a cherished brother to Bernard Jr., Timothy, and the late William Hickey, and a beloved uncle to Bernard III, Mandy, Kalene, and Morgan. Terrence was also a valued member of the Mustangs Club of Lyons, where his camaraderie and spirit were deeply appreciated.
A visitation in celebration of Terrence’s life will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a service at 7:30 PM, at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave., (55th Street just west of Harlem). Terrence will be laid to rest with his family at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date.
“May God hold you in the palm of His hand.” His memory and kind heart will be forever cherished by all who knew him.
