We celebrate the life of Irene O’Connor, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
She was the beloved mother of Kim Molis, John (fiancée Ann Bartol) Koerner, and Jennifer Radosevich; and the much-loved grandmother of Matthew, Alex, Liz, and Tyler, and the late Benjamin. Irene was the cherished daughter of the late John and Antoinette Skora and was preceded in death by her siblings John, Jane, Julie, and Florence. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A longtime resident of Oak Lawn, Irene was a strong and independent woman who epitomized elegance, style, and grace. She enjoyed dining out, playing the slots, and watching her favorite Korean soap operas. Her warmth, wit, and presence will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street just west of Harlem).
