2025 outlook:
The Knights return seven starters each on offense and defense from a team that was one of five IHSA playoff qualifiers from the Public League South.
There’s good experience at the skill positions, too. Quaylen Dobbs, a 6-0, 180-pounder and a returning two-way player at tight end and defensive end, will be this year’s tailback. Jordan Boston, a 5-8, 130-pounder, is back at quarterback and 5-11, 160-pounder Aedan Cleveland returns at running back and defensive back.
Anchoring the offensive line is returning guard Ryan Ogburn (5-10, 365), who also will play defensive tackle.
Coach Terrence McClarn is looking for bigger things this year, including a top-three finish in the conference and success in the state playoffs.
“I always ask my players, ‘What legacy do you want to leave behind?'” he said.
