On July 26, Eduardo Castillo, 43, of Chicago, was stopped for failure to dim bright lights and found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was issued citations for suspended DL, no insurance, failure to secure child in a child restraint system, and failure to dim headlights. He was released on a notice-to-appear.
On July 31, Luis Perez was stopped for holding an electronic device in his hand while driving. He did not have a driver’s license and was issued citations for both offenses, as well as for having no insurance, and transportation of open alcohol. He was released on a notice-to-appear.
On August 4, Abiel Chontal-Chigo, 44, of Kankakee, was stopped for having an expired registration and also did not have a valid driver’s license. He was issued citations for both offenses and released on a notice-to-appear.
On August 5, Nicholas Gronendyke, 31, of Merrillville, was stopped for a vehicle equipment violation and found to have a revoked Illinois driver’s license. He was issued citations for both offenses and released on a notice-to-appear.
On August 10, Yordreivinson Moises Benavente-Vento, 31, of Chicago, was stopped for having two vehicle equipment violations, and he also did not have a valid driver’s license. He was issued citations for the equipment violations, no insurance, and driving without a valid license, then released on a notice-to-appear.
