On July 23, at 4:04 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Stephan Jones, 25, from Hammond, Indiana. Jones was charged with operating a vehicle with expired Illinois registration, operating an uninsured vehicle, and driving with a suspended license. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On July 25, at 7:33 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Robert Atkins, 53, from Yorkville. Atkins was charged with disobeying a traffic control device and driving while his license is suspended, revoked, or cancelled. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On July 26, at 3:44 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Thomas Plumley, 62, from Monee. Plumley was charged with improper lane usage, improper turn in intersection, no driver’s license on person, and DUI-Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On July 29, at 8:36 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Jason Howard, 29, from Merrillville, Indiana. Howard was charged with speeding over posted limit, driving with suspended license, and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was subsequently given a notice-to-appear.
On July 30, at 7:57 a.m., Monee officers learned there was a stolen vehicle around Monee-Manhattan Road and Ridgeland. Officers had a description of the vehicle and registration information. After looking for the vehicle, they found it parked and unoccupied in the Amazon parking lot. The vehicle was recovered, and the owner was notified.
