On April 22, Gilberto Marrufo-Villa, 54, of Chicago Heights, was issued a citation for a theft that occurred at a business at 901 Dixie Highway. He was released on a notice-to-appear.
On May 6, Nicholas Hedger, 34, of Beecher, was arrested for criminal trespass to residence and aggravated battery after officers were called to a residence for a home invasion. Hedger was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
On May 8, Melissa Hall, 39, of Peotone, was stopped for a cell phone violation and found to have a driver’s license that was expired for more than a year. She was issued citations for both offenses and released on a notice-to-appear.
On May 24, an officer observed Jonathan Gaik, 22, of Beecher. Knowing there was an active arrest warrant for him for criminal damage to property, he was arrested and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
On May 26, Joseph Kvasnicka, 20, of Beecher, was stopped for disobeying a traffic control sign and issued citations for that offense, as well as unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, then released on a notice-to-appear.
