On November 7, at approximately 5:17 a.m., officers responded to an accident with injuries at the intersection of W. Monee-Manhattan Road and S. Ridgeland Avenue. Officers cited both drivers of the accident. Gustavo A. Ocampo, 21, of Hazel Crest, was cited for improper left turn and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, plus Brearre L. Hardy, 32, of Crown Point, Indiana, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Both drivers were treated by the Monee Fire Protection District Paramedics.
On November 7, at approximately 9:47 a.m., an overweight semi-truck violation led to the arrest of Christopher C. Ukachukwu, 38, of Chicago Heights, for driving with a suspended driver’s license. Ukachukwu was cited and the semi-truck turned over to a valid driver.
On November 7, at approximately 4:45 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jalisah Y. Yates, 33, of St. Louis, Missouri, for a revoked DL, suspended license plates, and no insurance. He was cited and released.
On November 7, at approximately 10:21 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Brianna N. Stubenfield, 29, of Chicago, for a suspended driver’s license and no valid registration. She was cited and released.
On November 8, the Monee Police K-9 Unit was called to assist the Richton Park PD to track three offenders who fled on foot after a pursuit involving a stolen vehicle. K-9 Cap tracked one of the suspects to a backyard of a residence where the track appeared to have ended. Case under investigation by RPPD.
On November 9, at approximately 10:28 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Deivon D. Griffin, 23, of Matteson, for a suspended DL, suspended license plates, and improper lighting. He was cited and released.
