On July 23, at approximately 5 p.m., a Monee Officer, while on patrol, observed a worn Indiana Temporary Registration on the rear of a vehicle. The expiration date was written over with a permanent marker. He ran the number through dispatch, revealing “no record on file.” A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Ramiro Ramirez, 57, of New Lenox. Ramirez was issued tickets for no valid registration, aid/abet unlawful display TTL/PLT, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Ramirez was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.
On July 23, at approximately 9:17 p.m., Monee Officers were dispatched to 6605 W. Monee-Manhattan Road (Amazon) for a report of a delayed theft. Upon arrival, they met with the loss prevention specialist, who advised an employee had stolen $1,500 worth of Apple products from Amazon. Timothy Bogan, 24, of Dolton, was arrested for theft of more than $500. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citation.
On July 24, at approximately 5:53 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jarred Denny, 29, of Crete. Denny was issued citations for an obstructed windshield and driving while his license was suspended. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.
On July 25, at approximately 2:23 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Riya Simpson, 22, of Park Forest. Simpson was issued citations for speeding over the statutory limit, driving while her license was suspended, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Simpson was released with a notice-to-appear via her citations.
On July 25, at approximately 4:37 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Ahmon Foster, 29, of Park Forest. Foster was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle when registration was suspended for no insurance, having no valid license expired more than a year, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Foster was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.
On July 26, at approximately 7:46 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Rebecca Bouck, 41, of Manhattan. Bouck was issued a citation for aggravated speeding and released with a notice-to-appear via her citation.
On July 27, at approximately 4:39 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Leo Coleman, 21, of Park Forest. Coleman was issued citations for driving while his license was suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. During the arrest, officers discovered Coleman had a no-bond warrant out of Cook County for a traffic offense and was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility for further warrant processing and given a notice-to-appear via his citations.
