On July 13, officers arrested Jennifer Tribolet, 49, of Plainfield, after conducting a traffic stop at East North and Wabash. Tribolet was issued citations for driving while license suspended, driving while registration suspended, and speeding
On July 14, officers arrested Antrazhun Webster, 24, of Lansing, after conducting a traffic stop at Park Street and Whitson. During the traffic stop, it was learned Webster had a valid arrest out of Will County Illinois for failure to appear on driving while license suspended charges and also was issued citations for speeding and operation of uninsured motor vehicle.
On July 17, officers arrested Kazimierz Nizynski, 52, of Manhattan, for a battery, which occurred in the area of Fairview Drive and Marion Street. Nizynski sprayed a chemical, later learned to be starter fluid, on a female victim and juvenile unprovoked. Prior to the battery, the van he was operating almost struck the victims as they were riding bicycles. Nizynski then threw hot coffee at/on the victim, while yelling profanities towards them as he retrieved the starter fluid and sprayed the victim, who was protecting the child. Nizynski was charged with battery, disorderly conduct, and driving on a suspended license.
