May 11, 2023 – Peotone Officer was dispatched to Dralle Chevrolet Buick for report of a stolen vehicle. Complainant advised they were missing a Gray 2015 Chevrolet Corvette. Officer gathered all pertinent vehicle information for vehicle to be entered into the national data base as stolen, during this time he also learned the vehicle was equipped with OnStar. The officer had vehicle entered into database and then proceeded to contact OnStar for assistance in trying to locate vehicles current location. OnStar was able to advise of a location in Chicago and appeared vehicle was parked. Contact was made with Chicago Police for assistance in checking location for vehicle. Chicago Police assisted in checking for vehicle and were able to locate it. Vehicle was recovered and returned to Dralle Chevrolet Buick having minor damage of a broken window. This report has been turned over to investigations for further action in locating possible suspect.
May 11, 2024 – Peotone Officers responded to a Dispute in the 300 Blk of Harlem. Officers spoke with parties at this location, one being intoxicated and argumentative. The second party involved only wanted the other party to leave. A friend of the second party was located and agreed to pick up subject and transport back to the individual’s residence. No additional assistance required upon subject being picked up.
May 12, 2024 – Peotone Police were dispatched to meet with a subject who was standing by in the 500 Blk of Hauert St. after seeing on the ground a small plastic bag containing pills. Peotone Officer responded taking possession of the baggie. Officer then was able to identify the pills and illegal contraband and destroyed/disposed of accordingly.
May 13, 2024 – Officers were dispatched to 900 block Locust for report of gun fire. Officers arrived in area and located to male subjects that had discharged a pellet gun. Offenders were advised of Village Ordinance Violation and issued citation accordingly.
May 13, 2024 – Peotone Police took a report for a Property Damage Accident occurring in the 600 Blk of W. North St.
May 14, 2024 – Peotone Officer was dispatched to speak with complainant in the 1000 block of Hummingbird Lane who advised their 2019 White Ford Transit was just stolen. Officer responded and additional officers began patrolling area to locate vehicle. Vehicle was entered into the national data base as stolen and information was dispatched to surrounding area. On May 15, 2024 the vehicle was located, processed and would be returned to owner.
May 16, 2024 – Officers responded to the 500 blk of Hickory for report of solicitors. Peotone Officers located solicitors and advised them they would need to cease until obtaining correct permits from Village. The solicitors left the area.
